JV baseball offense was fired up tonight. Apparently in a hurry to get to Ragsdale , support the varsity team,  and participate in a fantastic cause and fun evening for VS Cancer....the Cowboys pounded 13 hits,  scored 14 runs in a quick route at home vs Ragsdale,  14-0 in 5 innings. Hunter Pace pitched a 1 hit shutout in the 5 inning complete game.  At the plate,  the Cowboys were led by Matt Christy ( 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs ) AJ Allen ( 3-4 ) and Patrick Callaghan ( 2-3 ).  Everyone in the Cowboy lineup scored at least 1 run,  and everyone had at least one hit.....with 1 exception and a baseball rarity that you will not see very often...Dylan Sampson was hit by a pitch in 4 consecutive plate appearances.  As if catchers don't take enough abuse already,  Dylan had to shake off some bumps and bruises at the plate as well. JV baseball has a quick turnaround as they head to Finch Field on Saturday to play Wesleyan at Noon.
