WESLEYAN ACADEMY @ FINCH FIELD: 9

The cowboy offense struggled today, against 2 Wesleyan pitchers that threw hard and wild. SW managed only 1 hit ( Alex Barratta ) and 8 walks, and a close game early turned into a 9-1 loss as Wesleyan slowly pulled away. Blake Blackport pitched 4 innings, Jose Perez 1, and Matt Christy 2. Side note - Dylan Sampson managed to get hit by another pitch today ( 5 times in last 2 games ). Southwest JV returns home Tuesday night in a key conference game vs Northwest @ 5:30.
