Cowboys JV won a marathon ballgame at Central last night, 20-11. Hunter Pace pitched 5 innings, with 6 Ks, and Jose Perez finished the final 2 innings strong with 4 Ks and only 1 hit. Leading the offense - AJ Allen was 2 for 3 and 4 runs scored, Matt Christy was 3 for 4, and Dylan Sampson 2 for 4. Dylan also extended one of the more unsual stats and developments this season, being hit by a pitch for the 4th consecutive game ( 7 times over that span ). JV boys have 1 game next Monday night at Ragsdale , 5:30, then enjoy a week off for the abbreviated Spring Break.
