Mens Varsity Football
Coach Jaleel Laguins, Coach J, started his football career at Oconee County High school in Watkinsville,Georgia where he spent 4 years playing linebacker and was honored as U.S. Army All American. He would continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Georgia, where he made an appearance in the 2017-2018 SEC championship, Rose Bowl Championship, and a National Championship. He would later transfer to Samford University to finish his athletic career and academic career where he would receive a Bachelor's degree in Communication
Studies.
He is now seeking his master's at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University. Now he merges his love for the game, years of experience, and passion for helping the next generation of athletes at Southwest Guilford as a defensive backs coach.
