After 76 minutes of a scoreless soccer, the Cowboy's were able to break through with two goals in the last four minutes of the game. The first goal was put in by Jeremy Cronin on an assist from Carl Druebbisch. The last goal came after Tyler Vetsch hit a well placed shot that was mishandled by the Southeast keeper, Mitchell Gardner was there to place the ball in the back of the net. The defense played great, despite a lot of pressure from their forwards, to record the seasons first shutout. On a sad note, freshman JV player Jack Davis was injured during their match. Jack broke his femur and will be undergoing surgery at Wake Forest/Baptist Hospital. Please keep Jack and his family in your thoughts and prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.
