The Cowgirls defeated rival Ragsdale on Friday 4-2. Gianna Flowers put Southwest on the board first on an assist from Erin Jones. The Cowgirls went into halftime with a 1-0 lead. After Ragsdale tied the game at 1-1, Demi Hackney scored a brilliant header off of a free kick from Cori May. Ragsdale then tied the game at 2-2, Logan Parry scored on a PK to put the Cowgirls ahead. Cori May scored a beautiful insurance into the right corner of the goal to round out the scoring.
