The Southwest Cowboy varsity baseball team traveled to Morehead High School on a frigid Friday night for another non-conference baseball game.  Panthers pitchers could not keep the Cowboys off the bases as the visiting team racked up 7 hits and 11 base-on-balls on the way to a convincing 9 - 2 victory.

Jacob Edwards and Sean McIntosh both pitched effectively, limiting Morehead to just four hits.  Edwards is now 3 - 0 on the young season.  Edwards, Mason Chu, and Garrison Thornton lead the Cowboy offense, each of them tallying 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Both Tommy  and Kyle Blendinger drew 3 walks.  Isaiah Hairston had the other Cowboy hit and Blendinger added another RBI to his season total.

The Cowboys next game will be at home versus Glenn High School. The game is their first conference game of the season and will be played at 7pm on Tuesday, March 21st.
