The Southwest Cowboy varsity baseball team used big offensive innings in the first, fourth and fifth to cruise to an easy 12-0 victory over the High Point Central Bison on Tuesday night.  The Cowboys scored four runs in the first inning on an RBI single by Kyle Blendinger, an RBI single by Isaiah Hairston, a sacrifice bunt by Mason Chu and an RBI double by Paul Bullock.  That was more than enough margin for Cowboys ace Blendinger who only allowed one hit in his complete game masterpiece.

Blendinger and Bullock each tallied two hits on the evening while Jacob Edwards, Garrison Thornton, and AJ Allen also had hits.  Blendinger again led the team in RBI’s with three, while both Tommy Zente and Thornton had two RBI’s.  Blendinger struck out seven on his way to earning his sixth win of the season against no losses.  With the win the Cowboys move to 5-0 in the conference and 12-2 overall.

The Cowboys next game will be at Western Alamance High School on Wednesday, at 7pm.
