This will be Coach Armstrong's third year teaching and coaching at Southwest. Armstrong says last year was a great experience, and he feels more than confident about this upcoming football season. He believes the team is made up of a great group of young men that are extremely talented. Armstrong coaches the Running Backs and also teaches Math in the Freshman Academy.
Armstrong grew up in Sumter, South Carolina and played his college ball at Presbyterian College. While at PC, Armstrong started at the Fullback position all four years of attendance. He received his degree in Mathematics and was fortunate to be hired by Southwest.
Armstrong married his beautiful wife, Morgan, on March 28, 2015.
